Is there a way to have both rear fog lights (driver's & passenger's side) on when activated? I know the reason why they are the way they are but I would like both of them to work together none the less....

can you be more specific about what you're describing? on my USDM 991.2 the OEM behaviour is to have them both turn on when the fog lights are activated.

More specific how?? US spec 991.1 has only ONE - Driver's side rear fog light. All left hand drive Porsche 991.1 have only drivr's side rear fog light. What I am asking is if anyone has coded the ability to have BOTH rear fogs on? I know people who have left hand drive Porsche 991s that relocate and move to the UK have their system coded for the rear fog to illuminate on the right/passenger side of the vehicle since they are driving on the opposite side of the road.

ah.

sounds like it's a possibility with your LHD moving/recode scenario. coding for both on should be an option then. I don't have a 991.1 to play with so I can't tell you for sure, sorry!

could always just upgrade to a 991.2.

Ive been recoding my car for a few hours, any moment on getting the headlights changed to euro mode?
I did this on a bmw and the codeing made a big difference in the way the headlights reacted to turns and other cars

No coding required , but you do need to shave off a tiny piece of plastic from the euro light connector in order for the US connector to fit.
It's a 5 minute job.

My car(991.2 cabriolet gts) 's key only had three buttons, and the fourth button was unmarked and blocked.
I cut a hole in the 4th button that was blocked and made it work, and then used the , code to open and close the top . Unfortunately, I don't remember what I coded to make this work, but it wasn't anything too difficult, just one of those simple on/off things.

Anyone know the part# for the 4-button rubber piece used in other markets for the convertible?

I have the Autel MS 906BT. Excellent tool. Wondering if this tool allows one to check for over revs and if you can code out the engine turning off when you come to a light. I would love to have that off all the time. Thanks

Just found this thread on the 718 forum (see below). Wonder if this would work on 991.2?

That worked. You just saved me $230 lol. Price for the T-Design module. 🙏

There is definitely a lot of portability between what we can do and what some of the cayenne, macan and 981/718 people are doing. There’s a really good master cayenne thread.

Regarding over revs,I would expect Autel to do it as well… DME > Read Data Stream or similar

Post some screen shots, let’s figure it out
