Default Electric Parking Brake

Hello everyone,

I took my 2012 C2S to autozone to have a tire patched. When I got the car back the Electric Parking Brake in service mode warning came on. Anyone ever experience this fault and how did you clear it? I have a COBB Accessport but I’m not sure if I can use it to clear the code. Please see pic. As always, thank you for your generous wisdom.

If it's anything like my Macan, you'll need an OBD2 tool to take it out of service mode. I used the Foxwell NT530 on mine. Are near Autozone? Could they do that for you?

First time I have ever read "Porsche", "Autozone", and "tire patch" in the same sentence. You sir, are a risk taker.

LMAO Stop it. I was desperate! Any idea if the COBB tuner would clear the code?

Maybe. Click through the menus and find out. I know the later Cobbs can do some PDK stuff, so it would be reasonable to see ebrake service toggling in the Cobb menus.

Go to a local shop, am sure they have scanner that will clear the code.
