Car values dropping

Mexico is a dime a dozen PTS color. It’s not some super rare color. Again, I’m not arguing with you. Im commending you for a job well done. After auctioning your car on BaT, getting only $87k for it, refusing to honor your obligation to sell and getting booted from their platform, listing it on Rennlist a year ago and getting no takers, you listed it on eBay and immediately got an offer of $105k, still below your ask but way over what it’s worth. Assuming that’s a real offer, you’re gonna make out very well. Better than most that list their cars too high. Weird that you’ve only got one bid though.

On the thread topic, I just sold my GT4 to a dealer for what I paid new for it two years ago and they sold it for well over sticker in less than a week, so I don’t think values are dropping much on desirable cars.

Yet in post 338, he spammed this thread with a link to his for sale ad. Which is nothing more than a link to his eBay auction.

Supply chain issues are
Not as bad as maufacturers are making out. Recent formula is decrease supply, increase demand through false narrative about supply chain making things special and rare, increase price/profit. The tail is wagging the dog. Only market disruption can right the ship.

Regardless, prices are falling and cars are sitting much longer, even GT cars, tho not as much as non-GT cars. Oddly enough there are more 992 GT3s on the market right now than 991.2 GT3s. As things very slowly return to "normal" the trend of falling prices will continue, slowly but surely.
