Pete you hit out of the park. I loved the feature on the 500E. Along with the E39 my favorite sedan And then you followed up on that tach.

asellus just so you know Porsche collaborated with Mercedes to build the E500 and it's one of the finest 4 door sedans in the world. Pete owns a 991 and edits the magazine. He's a former editor of Excellence and Panorama. The mag arrives in a well protected box and has wonderful photogs and articles.

Many thanks, George! Glad 021 met you well, and Laurance Yap hit it out of the park with that 500E story—I learned a lot, and appreciate those cars (and Porsche's role in them) in a whole new light. I was smitten on the shoot for them. As for the smart tach in the E39 M5…whyyyyy aren't other manufacturers doing that by now??

Sorry! Chalk it up to our "huge" marketing budget, but we'd rather make substantive magazines.

As for why here, 000 isn't really model specific. It's for people who want to understand Porsche, the thinking behind the cars, and connect more of the dots. Some happen to drive 991s. I do too, and (fwiw) have often enjoyed your comments here in 991 forum.

We actually have that. Sort of.

Our new website had that built in as one of the features to turn on later. Your post is a good reminder to see where that project is—and how many issues we've published since the last compilation (as someone who personally indexed issues 1-74 of Excellence, I can tell you they are a real pain…but also very useful!). No promises, but will look into it...
