My Tial M800’s aren’t big enough anymore 🤣🤣

My tuner said there is no way he is tuning something like twin G25-550’s without a MoTeC.

So I’m still interested. 🤣

How much air does the G25-550 flow?

The M800 only flows 340g/sec.

In the year 2000 the stock K24 on the 996 already flowed 450g/sec. That was on a 3.6 liter.

Who has the flow #s on the GTS and Carrera turbos?

No idea. Some geek did the math and said a fair bit more.

I guestimate the M800 are equivalent of G20-400 if there were such a thing. So G25-550 should be a nice improvement. Or Flowing 800hp to 1100hp comparison if that helps?

996 air flow was total, not per turbo. 450g/sec from two (I bet you mean 464.53g/sec to be exact).. Can't compare the two.

If TiAL M800’s aren’t big enough, you haven’t pushed them hard enough. You’ll send a rod through the block before you reach the limits of the M800’s.

9FF is the only tuner that has a full G25 kit available, they require upgraded rods and clutches. It’s also tuned using the stock ECU.

I would upgrade internal engine before going motec or other ecu that is 40k right there then tune with bigger turbo you will need to upgrade y pipe to cuz they are 44mm inlet but who make this? from my experience imo ,cobb work fine with my m800 the magic spot 27-28psi if you pass 30 psi on m800 your playing with fire ! M800 flow enough to put à hole in your stock engine ...i dont understand why spend 50-60k for 1000hp?+ get a real turbo 991.2 or à 720s with a tune

Of course you can, but it doesn't make it bullet proof. Its just near enough.

Turbo's are $600K here. 2-RS are $850K My Car was $320K. I can spent $250K on it and still save plenty. But its not about any of that or 1,000hp.

I want a bullet proof car with ZERO disclaimers and ZERO excuses. I don't want APR or any other company telling me what I can and can't mix together and how careful I must be.

I will build a car for ME, I will build it so it cannot be broken, and then I shall proceed to try and break it. Why? Because I can. For no other reason.

MoTeC will give the convienience of fuel flex fuel. Motorsport traction control. I run full off, but Motorsport T/C is not intrusive. It will have full control over the turbo's. Not partial control. Full control over everything.
I understand most people don't need that sort of control. I do. Near enough is not good enough. Perfection is acceptable.

I can drive the tires off my car. I can beat on it and the only thing that it needs is fresh tyres.

Flex fuel 🤤!! It’s confusing why there isn’t an option for a 911. This is again an ultimate track weapon!!

Agreed. MoTeC will give us Flex Fuel. It's a shame someone like Mitch from M-Engineering doesn't spend the time to do it via COBB. I understand its not worth his time.

Keep at it brother. We have faith. Persistency is key. Wear them down. The screaming 911's gets the MoTeC, or is it the squeaky wheel gets the grease? Tom-ato, to-mato.

Progress maybe. I know a tuner/coder who is taking some leave and wants to work on a MoTeC project.

The plan is for us to grab a copy of 991.2 Turbo MoTeC. Then he is happy to spend a few months coding it across to our platform.

it would be helpful to acquire a wiring diagram for 991.2 3.0’s.

If I have to spring for the turbo unit I will.
