Default 911.1 GTS R

Car has been gone since the end of November and it’s finally almost back to me. Officially I pick it up tomorrow to put some miles on her before she comes back for some drop links and final suspension calibrations.

My goal and dream was a 911R ‘inspired look’ with the rear seats for my kiddos and street drive ability of a GTS. I have always loved the ducktail and thought a 911R or GT3 with that there would be awesome! So here is a quick teaser shot(s) of the final product. I promise to have some great shots of the project once it’s dialed in and detailed. Will likely PPF the car and ceramic coat it.

Definitely not a cheap investment over the past 3 months but I think worth it!

Mods added as of November 21:

1. DSC controller with Gt3 touring file
2. Bilstein B16 full coil-over kit (H&R VTFs didn’t work so I upgraded)
3. Cobb PDK tune
4. BMC filters
5. 991.2 GT thicker wheel
6. 991.1 Gt3 bumper
7. 991.2 GT3 RS side skirts
8. Mosshammer rear diffuser
9. BC Forged Wheels
10. Michelin PS4 tires new

I may be unpopular but I don’t think the duck tail works with the GT3 front bumper. I think the needs a GT3 wing

but I love the black and white theme

Looks great. Bring it to Porsche night at the Ace Cafe on Monday.

All good. - I might change the bumper to center exhaust later on but the Duck Tail is staying. It’s awesome and love it. I always drool on those huge APR wings that look like picnic tables but I am not making enough power for that down force.

Maybe I will. If I am in town that day I will swing by (hopefully the car has not fallen apart by then . The front is bound to hit something!

These are just a few teasers. I pick her up tomorrow and will do a photo shoot once she’s detailed and cleaned up. Butt shots will be included with thongs!

Yep, you’re unpopular Tommy. 🤣🤣. J/K.

OP, good job. I know the work and coin that goes into doing this. Looks great. Need more butt pics!

Here’s mine…..just to make Tommy more unpopular 🤣

GT3 Front.

Turbo Touring or GTS-RS 🤣

Very nice and you also were a huge inspiration to my build. I do not have half the effort and coin into mine as your but yours is a dedicated track monster and is unrivaled!

I am debating the same livery you have on the hood and rear.

Good job! Maybe a GT3 rear bumper to match the aggressiveness of the front? Either way, looks great

Love it!

I too am going for a similar build. Instead, I refer to my build as an R-Lite. I won't go to the extent you did with the body mods, but I've upgraded little bits exterior wise, suspension and interior upgrades and eventually HP.
