Thanks Bro! I am not sure if I am as happy with it as I should be.
I want it to be lower for sure and I think I am needing a full oem Gt3 bumper. Mine which I sourced has some fitment imperfections that are looking at me each time I look at her…Dam this OCD thing. Funny is my wife is same way and now she is like - fix it!
Cant imagine another 2 months at the body shop…ughh
@Wizo looks great! Since I'm semi local to you I might reach out to the body shop you used and do the same on my 991.1 gts. I just have to track down parts......
Still need to dial in the suspension as it seems to be a little “bouncy” - which if I have read right is just too stiff. I am going to add drop links to help make sure my sway bars are not bound up to help and I would like to lower it about 5mm more all around.
Got to go to a car meet at Ace Cafe - Porsche night. I cannot believe how many cars showed up and all the GT3’s gave me some motivation on some other upgrades I am thinking about.
I’m also inspired to build a “R” wanna-be.
can you confirmed that you have a 991.2.
Want to know for sure if the 991.1 GT3 front bumper will fit the 991.2.
Thx

Rocketman has a 991.2 T and he installed the 991.2 GT3 front on his car.

I think it looks amazing! If you had to do it over again would you use the same body shop? Im probably going to do the front and rear but its hard to find a competent shop that can tackle this.

the guy that did it said he wouldn’t mess
with a non oem part again - he said too much work and he didn’t anticipate the time he needed to spend on it. His initial quote to me for the bumper was $1,500-1,700 but it ended up being well over $3,000. He said that was generous and he lost money in the deal.
So OEM - he is in but aftermarket he is likely not going to tackle it. They are also taking appointments 30 days out. The shop is Samuels Auto in Sanford - Brad is the owner.
