Default 1st 991 GTS with GT3 aerokit

love my GTS 4 .... but love the look of the GT3 exterior much more. Try to build a 991 with all wheel drive and all the goodies the 991 gts have ( memory, rear seats, back camera , bose, pdc etc.) and the aerokit from Gt3.

i think maybe i´m the first with 991 gts who done this. The body of GtS is exactly the same as GT3 and the Bumpers and everything is fitting 100% . i use only OEM parts. Biggest Part to modify was the front bumper with the air ducts and the middle air outlet (complete diffrent) Car is fun to drive in snow. i realised that the big aerokit is stealing some max speed and the diffrent aero pressing the car harder to the ground above 270 kmh. feels like on rails now on high speeds.

dont get me wrong its not a fake GT3 only the aero - car is at the wrap shop and getting a mexico blue wrap with GTS race decals.

Anyway you can help tell me how to do the complete rear wing swap?
Thank you!

I think it would have been cheaper to swap a front differential into a GT3.

With the wheels you've completed a "tribute" car. No way for anyone to tell the difference. You could reverse the "S" in your badge.

Can't wait to see the wrap when it gets completed.

Hmmm....no clear shot of the rear to see how the exhaust has been handled because they would need cutouts in the rear valance surely.

Rear is authentic as well. My Goal was to find a exhaust to mount the rear bumper without modifications - only techart could deliver bolt on solution with their center outlet valve race exhaust. Its loud its so damn loud. Much louder than stock Gt3.

A "first" it is. How much have these conversions cost so far? Not in USA I see.

Curious where?

Front lift too??

Nice you've used all OEM parts.

its my midlife crisis project to clean my head and create something special not everybody have. the costs of the project were not in priority. Fact is porsche could not offer me a GT3 with allwheel drive and rear seats and daily driver practically. GTS is perfect for me
991 turbo - dont like exterior

More info on the GT3 RS steering wheel please! Did it require any coding or was it a straight swap? And does the multi-function stalk still work?

And also congrats on the project, you are one crazy dude but more power to ya!

Well, you've executed it well. If wanting all those other options with a GT3 look, you've succeeded.

More guys probably want details! Especially the steering wheel.

Keep in mind guys, you need the airbag too listed on the bottom. Courtesy of Suncoast.

Doing the math in my head, all these parts are in excess of $40-50K. I've never seen any major discounts on parts.

Wonderful project, great results!

Curious, how much of the modification work did you complete yourself, versus having a shop do the labor? And aside from cost, how much time do you estimate has been spent to complete all of the modifications to date?

Thanks for sharing! Oh, and please post a video / audio of the exhaust?

Hi Plenum

i did all the work by myself excluding the paintjob of the wing and the bumpers. i have spend a lot of time to do the homework before. research etc.

i completed it after 6 weeks including waiting/delivery time for exhaust and the
paintjob.
