Congrats! Great move on the manual. This should be a future classic.

I’ve never seen a 5 lug gts 991, was this a rare option or converted?

Thank you,

The original (only) owner configured the car with Centerlock delete, GTS decal delete, Alcantara delete. 5 Lug from factory and a pretty rare config

That's a crazy config--a GTS which doesn't look like a GTS as they removed all the things which normally make one. GTS interior, but not just un-optioned, they changed up the colors and interior trim. And went with non-dark wheels. (5 lugs were a free option, I almost configured them myself)

I was about to say it might not actually be a GTS until I zoomed in on the instrument cluster and see it does indeed say GTS on the screen right of center.

Nice move, the manual is great. Moving to the Numeric shifter is the best upgrade there--can't speak for the cables, didn't do those. I will say the Numeric took a couple weeks to settle in, was a bit tight/notchy at first but quickly sorted itself.

For a quick second I almost though it was a C2S with the sport package but I noticed the WB. This spec is right up my alley, wolf in sheep clothing almost.

Congrats, certainly a rare spec and a future classic.

Congratulations! Brilliant move and welcome back to the MT gang :-D

Looks like a luxurious GTS spec, very well optioned to say the least and this interior is to die for, I wish I had it on my GTS!!

The stealth look and classic interior combo, classic black gauges and 5 Lugs are some of the main things that attracted me to it. Even 911 owners (friends) mistook it for an S at first glance.
There were a few black, silver and white Manual GTSs on the market over the last 9-12 months (time period I was looking to buy a Manual GTS), but this was the most unique one I found that could be My forever-911

Add the 1-owner, all service at dealer + Impeccably clean Over Rev report (43 ignitions in Range 1--ALL other ranges 0 ).. I had to go for it

I fought with the idea of GT3 Manual or Touring (Only N/A cars were considered) but given the 50% price point of the Manual N/A GTS, it was a no brainer. I may never track the car and this GTS Manual is all the 911 I will ever need. I hope to make it my own Touring-Lite

and when that "more power" itch does happen further down the years, I could put a $25k-$30K 4.0 stroker in this and still have a stealthy GTS in sheep's clothing.

Almost all pre-owned car purchases are a compromise, I made a PDK compromise on my last car which was other wise perfection but 19 months of PDK ownership proved to me that I compromised on something that counldnt be changed/swapped.
There a a couple of compromises in this car (14 way seats for Ex) but none that cannot be rectified very easily

Now I wish the dealer would just ship it already

Congrats! We'll look forward to more updates once you receive it and get to "know it" better. If I were to "upgrade", I too really would like to consider a 991.1 MT GTS. Can't wait to see how your journey unfolds.

Congrats! No matter what you may have read about the 7 speed being a little vague in it's throws, you're going to love how the car responds to your input. Install a GT4 short shifter and it will be magic. It totally changes the feel and attitude of the shifting.

I see your trade-in doesn't have a front plate. No two plate requirement in your state? If so, do you plan on dealing with the holes in the bumper cover? My Boxster had bumper plugs, but they didn't sit well with me so I had it patched and painted.

Good luck with the new ride!

Like you said, almost All reviews about .1 7MT have been subpar at best, was lucky enough to drive a .1 CS at local carmax 4 months ago and that changed everything. May be it was years of Naysayers that lowered my expectations going in, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The biggest surprise was how much more freely that .1 CS Manual revved at lower rpms, 2500-5000. Driving my PDK even with Cobb tune, in manual mode, in comparison felt tethered and bogged down. (in Spite of 7MT having slightly taller gearing), I was blown away.
PDK is really meant to be driven in Auto, Sport and Sport+, driving it in manual 99.9% of time, like I did, did not let PDK shine and it felt sluggish compared to 7MT in same gear, same speed. Almost like my PDK car had a dual mass flywheel and I jumped into a single mass flywheel car.
yes, unfortunately the car comes from a state with 2 plate Law. I hope to try bumper covers as they worked well for my 987S a few years ago, fingers crossed

Great move! I love how your new GTS is spec'd. The interior colour scheme is so classic. I keep an eye out for a similar car here in Canada, but I know the likelihood of ever finding one is about zero. I probably have a higher chance of snagging a 991.2 GT3 Touring someday.
