Anyone know if this only applies to cars with PDK? Mine is a '16 GTS manual tranny.

 

It only applies to PDK cars with Sports Chrono.

 

I wonder if the Cobb PDK And ECU tunes undo the changes from the recall.

 

I think the word “voluntary” means that Porsche agreed to the recall without requiring an order from the NTHSB. It is not “voluntary” for the unfortunate owners who live in California who have no choice if they wish to register their cars. But, I agree with you. I am not having it done either but live in a location without emission testing. The lack of any information available concerning this recall and tune is deafening.

 

Has anyone gotten this done lately? Got the class action stuff in the mail too.

 

This is misinformation regarding CA cars. I moved to CA and registered my C2S a few months ago without needing the update. No questions asked. It's a non-issue.
