I drove my car up to skyline to take some pictures for the For Sale thread ( Yes sadly Its for sale)

it was my first drive to Skyline since GT3 steering software change,

Anyone who is still on the fence about the software update, please dont hesitate. Oh my Gad, what a difference, especially in the canyons through twisties. Makes me sad I am selling my car
Do not wait, get the steering update, its an absolute Must

100% agree. There should basically be a sticky at the top of the forum about this. It makes the car significantly better, and for the $100ish dollar investment it is an absolute no brainer.

Sorry to hear you are selling. Didn't you recently do a lot of work on it? What is the replacement?

Has anyone tried this yet, as far as if it is the 1330 file that will allow the GT3 file to work without errors? I was going to ask my dealer if they could see about updating the EPS software to the newest for the 99.1 (Dec, 2013 C2S) gen, but would like to know if the aforementioned would work or not.

Curious about this as well. I running the GT3 profile on early 991.1 build and get the error. I silenced it but would feel much better I it would work with no error.

Haha, that is cool! Lately, thoughts of selling the 993 and the 991.1 Targa GTS to buy a 991 Touring also crossed my mind. But ideally, the Touring would be an addition rather than a replacement, let us see a couple of years down the road :-D
Looking forward to read your impressions of your future Touring vs the 991.1 GTS!

has anyone ever gotten the GT3 CUP option for this? I had mine done sunday but Ernest from the 981 forum where nhnguy12 originally posted his breakthrough. I just got my car last week used. It is a 2013 911 carrera base coupe. Below is Ernest's reply on that 981 cayman thread with his thoughts and below is my spec sheet which I did the vin lookup for. Thank you!

When I did mine (2015 S) I think it had options for both the GT3 and GT3 CUP. I remember reading in one of the threads that they are the same, so I just chose the GT3 option.

2015 Turbo S - I tried to code change to GT3. Would not write the code. Makes some sense that it would not be applicable to an AWD car with PTV. Comments?

The turbo uses a different part number for the rack than the GT3/Carreras/Caymans. However the Turbo shares the same rack as a Spyder, which has been lauded as having good steering feel as well. Is that an option that pops up for you?
