You can paint the stock plastic lip. Just have to prep properly and it comes out great. Any decent body shop should be able to handle. I recommend ppf after it’s done to avoid chips.

Mine was one of the earliest 18s and had full google map support for the 1st year (free) and 2nd year (paid). In the 3rd year the service started to go wonky and they refunded my money and I haven't bothered to try and resubscribe again. As I understand it there is now a 3G -> 4G migration underway and I may try again after that is. all settled.

As someone that was good friends with the Keyhole guys, I really liked the feature :-)

cheers!

Probably late to the party, but I picked up my Carera White '19 T a little over a year ago. The spec is almost exactly like I would have ordered it, sports seats, MT, chrono, red accent package, LEDs and tinted rear lights, AND glass roof. I like a little more light in the black cockpit than adhering to some unquantifiable ethos. From what I can find, the glass roof is 25-30 lbs heavier than no roof at all. Car is everything people say it is for driving. I have a Cayman R for the track, the Twill likely see a relaxed day or two of 8/10s track duty if at all.

My advice is prioritize what's important to you on color and options and make a compromise that bugs you least.

One more piece of advice, if you haven't used LWB's in a daily driver, don't be in a rush to get a car with them. I have them in my Cayman R, and while comfortable, they are a real compromise.

As a DD I’d always recommend going with 4-ways in the T or 14-way if not caring about weight. Ultimately the LWBS do not save that much weight anyway compared with 4-ways. Don’t get me wrong, I love my LWBS but they limit overall daily usability of the vehicle.

the black ones in the pic above are what you get if you don’t order 18-way with ventilation or the silver, red, or yellow sport-Tex I believe.

They came standard w/ the T - so, less. The T interior package got you the striped seat fabric and matching interior bits like seatbelts and door pulls in either silver, red, or yellow.

One sit in the LWBS convinced me that 4 ways were for me. They looked amazing - but not great for a daily in my opinion. Now if they came with a back seat.... that would've made the choice a bit harder.

The thread on the seats would match the door pulls and belts if you got the red or yellow accent package.

Yellow accent package. Flash blew out the colour in the rear belts. In case there's a query - tuxmat winter mats (not a great fit), and Clek Olli with sides taken off.
