Love my T. Wish it was a slick top but I do like the metal roof

I know I was one of the first to get my hands on it - I think Black Optic had is car a few days before mine was delivered. IIRC, there was a short production run in fall 2017 for press cars, and then the next batch was Dec2017/Jan 2018, which is when my car was built. I think somebody has collected VINs in a spreadsheet, and mine is the 4th car on that spreadsheet by VIN sequence.

FWIW - I ordered my car the week after it was announced. Man those were the days.

cheers!

OP, Go for it.

[Yes, my production Month was 2017-12-11... but I didn't bother to capture my build number... it was pretty early!]

Off topic, but hoping one can answer a quick question. Assume you can install the Techart springs on a Carrera T with front axle lift and not lose axle lift functionality?

Also, while I have your attention (), is the center plastic piece of the front bumper replaceable or do you have to replace the whole front bumper to replace?

Thank you! Considering joining the club.

I am not qualified to answer on springs.

I am also careful, and therefore not qualified to answer on the front spoiler.. but I have heard that (generally) the black plastic spoiler is somewhat sacrificial and easily replaceable.

Well looks like the question is answered either way…yes replaceable. Still drives me crazy that the primer one costs more…$1k to replace if yours is painted.
