Just my $0.02, but I use tread width specifications as a basis of comparison to decide how much tread will actually make it to the ground - even though not all manufacturers report that measurement consistently. As I am a Michelin fanatic, I use Michelin's own data to compare tires across their models. I couldn't find an N0 spec Michelin in the 315/30 20 inch size you are considering. The non N0 spec Michelin tires in 315/30 all have more narrow tread width than the OEM N0 spec 305/30 20 inch tire, so it looks to me like you will be *losing* contact patch by going with what only *seems* to be a wider tire. If I were you, I would stick with N0 spec tires first and foremost and then decide what model and size works best for you.

I spoke to a shop whom I ordered the wheels from and they did the same. Contacted BC and they suggested the offsets you mentioned.

I ended up going with 20x9 et40 and 20x12 et46

Nice, those offsets and tire sizes will look great. Can't wait to see the finished product!

On the 991 GTS you can do up to a 335 rear with a 13" wide wheel and proper offsets. That's what we did on this 991 Turbo with HRE R101 Lightweight's.

very nice specs...What's the most aggressive offsets we can run on the fronts for the .1s ?? Im looking for some depth as well on the fronts without clearance issues.
