A buddy of mine was interested in getting a 992 GT3RS. He reached out to me since he's in LA and the dealerships are starting at $150-$200K over MSRP (I'm in PA). He said he'd be willing to go as high as $50K over, but no more.
I couldn't find one for him for that price range.
He ended up getting the last allocation for an STO at Lamborghini of Beverly Hills. He currently has a white Peformante Spyder and previously had a green Performante coupe that he put about 7k miles on it. He drives his cars.

Prices are crazy everywhere. If you can wait, wait.

I got mine for $88k. 2018 base PDK coupe, racing yellow, PSE, LCA, 20" RS spyder wheels, ventilated seats, Bose, voice control, premium package. 29k miles, one owner, locally serviced here in the bay area. After I got that deal I booked it out and realized I bought it $3000 under wholesale

Yes at a dealer. Yellow was not my first choice but it ended up looking much better in person, and I spent about what I was ready to spend for some 2014s I was looking at

Honestly that's a great deal. The RS spyders on the 991 look epic with bright colors. Can't beat that with a stick.

991.1 Brown Cab pretty well appointed at this link. 2014 Anthracite Brown (CPO) $93,900, also they have a 2014 Targa 4S $122,900 that is very nice, but was stolen from the dealership for two days so they cannot CPO it. I flew out there yesterday to look at the brown car, problem is the front needs to be painted as it is covered in rock dings, hood has a few blemishes. I would imagine they will paint it now that I flew out there and shot them down. They raised the price on the car by $2,000 after I left. The white 2019 is very nice and was very well cared for, but they think it is worth $140,000.

Good info. Surprising that they would CPO a car with lots of chips and dings

Agreed, also one of the reasons I decided not to purchase it. Great looking car though except for the dings, there was some road rash on one of the wheels, not unrepairable, but damage nonetheless. So, to me these were all things that they should have done to begin with on a CPO. Got me wondering what else they decided not to do. I was literally about to stroke a check and then decided not to. They were great about it and took me back to the airport, no hard feelings.

A couple things may have contributed to this; 1) they probably thought they didn't need to deal with the cosmetic issues because inventories are so low right now, and 2) the CPO could have been done long before they took inventory of it. Always something to consider when shopping for a CPO car; something I've noticed is that if the dealer you're buying from didn't do the CPO inspection/certification, there will likely be very few details about the car. The CPO warranty will obviously still be honored if anything goes wrong, just don't expect anything special as in these situations it's little more than a basic used car reconditioning.

Anecdotally, I bought a 981 Boxster GTS a few years ago that was CPO'd several years before it landed on that dealer's lot. The dealer did some maintenance work, but left the terrible Kumho tires on it and aftermarket brake pads that were noisy as all hell. They also missed a really substantial dent in the rear quarter, but actually had it fixed onsite while I was there.

Just food for thought.
