if you dont want to buy an aftermarket exhaust, just do the fister/gundo mod.

i wouldnt call that a "mod" though. you're basically intentionally creating an exhaust leak, hence the more noise... an exhaust leak isn't quite the same as a muffler delete lol

had the Fister done on my 06 4C by the guru himself( Fister) in Brentwood, Ca...took an hour,,he takes ur mufflers off and exchanges them for ones he already fistered,,sounded great..it was $350..sure its alot more now..

Perhaps look into the FD Motorsports muffler conversion. They do incredible work; I know this first hand. Assming they have the cores in stock, they will ship you the finished modified mufflers and charge you a core charge which will be refunded once you return your mufflers to them.

thats Fisters outfit..really has gotten larger since i was there, it was a 1 man do everything outfit

I bought a set of FD Motorsports mufflers for my 993, awesome. I also had Darin install a Golden Rod shifter in my 993..great product. I have asked them if there is a car in SoCal with their mufflers in stalled on a 991.1, just sent the note. I'd love to hear them....the quality of FD Motorsports products is top notch, and indeed they do have a large following in the Porsche community.
