Default 991.1 Option: Engine Cooling for Hot climate

On the Options Sheet, see 319 Engine Cooling for Hot Climate $0

On a Google search, 319 comes up as Sports Seat Plus left....nowhere have I been able to find what Engine Cooling for Hot Climate consists of. Any body have an idea?

Do you have a center radiator?

Default Center Radiator?

The car was delivered to a friends house in San Diego. I'll ask him to take a peek. Great suffusion. I'd love to see a center radiator...had one on my 2015 Cayman GTS.
Regardless, if there isn't one there, there will be...they are pretty cheap, about $750 for the kit.

Thanks for your response.

Default No center radiator....

So exactly what this option is, not readily available information.

My car runs cooler in Sport mode. Perhaps the warmer climate cooling simply makes my Sport mode cooling be your standard cooling.

I believe Porsche does their emissions testing in the Standard mode, or whatever you cake it.....If this is the case, they wouldn't take the risk....just my guess...thanks for think about my minor dilemma.

What I suspect, assuming the 991.1 engine has an internal oil cooler(s), this option make the cooler(3) heavy duty...we'll see.

I took delivery of the car. As most have observed, the engine runs 15 to 20 degrees cooler in the Sport Mode....so my car is changing cooling protocol reflecting the mode I have selected.

So, 319 Engine Cooling for Hot Climate remains a mystery.

BTW, I did add the center cooler from Suncoast Porsche. At the track the car runs at least 20 degrees cooler.

Can it be a typo?, or confusion with the earlier option 319 from the 80's?

Cooling option instead of the missing Left seat.

319 Sports Plus seat 4-way electrical, left
320 Sports Plus seat 4-way electrical, right

Cooling Option 319 from the 80's
