Love it! Enjoy and just call up RR Racing for a Supercharger and you're all set!

Nice. How did you manage to get the GT3 front on - did you need to re-route AC lines like 4 point 0 had to do with his 991.2, or were they routed differently on the 991.1? If you read his Putting OEM 991.2 GT3 front bumper on GTS OUCH! thread, it was anything but trivial ...

I should've documented everything now that i think about it. I do have a random pics during the process i can probably post on here. Theyre not step by step though.

Yea i paid a lot of attention to that thread but i actually didn't have to do any of that. The bumper mounted right up to my 991.1. The "proper" way is probably to also get a 3rd radiator and ducting. But i'll save that for the future.

I like it, nice work! I'm really liking the wider GT3 RS sideskirts, did you find this difficult to install? Can you take a couple of pictures near the corners (behind front wheel and in front of rear)? I may attempt this mod at some point, too bad the Canadian prices for these skirts are almost double that of the US.

debadging a car that started its life as a base Carrera and now has the entire body kit of a GT3 is surely misleading. No question

that said , it probably something most old school 911 owners would never even contemplate, to each his/her own and everyone has the right to “mod” their car as they please
posing is probably not a concern because any eagle eyed 911 fan/owner/veteran will know even at a quick glance that it’s not a real GT3

enjoy in good health

When i first started this, i was going to do 991.1 GT3 front, but as i began my search, i found 991.2 bumpers for a lot cheaper than the .1, so that is one of the reasons i went .2. It was actually less expensive.

Thanks! Check out the thread by @polobai it is very detailed.

Thanks. Also, the bumper is OEM from a GT3 and came with a "GT3" badge which i removed. Not sure why removing the GT3 badging would be posing? Nowhere on the car will it be labeled as something it is not. The bumper change was purely an aesthetic preference

PS. A lot of "old school 911" owners actually do tribute air cooled vehicles all the time. There was an RS America replica on here for sale not too long ago that got nothing but praises. Seems like only the "new school" 911 owners get their panties in a bunch.

Yes, his DIY's are awesome and very helpful. The reason I asked for additional pics are your sideskirts look a little wider than polobai's, are your sideskirts from a 991.1 or 991.2?

I think it flew over your head. Not putting back the "Carrera" badge is purposely leaving it up to the beholder to determine if its a GT3 or not.

The work is nicely done, like others have said. I would personally never want the attention it would come with and having to tell someone its not a GT3.

Sorry it went over my head. I missed the paperwork that came with car that require Carrera badges if installing GT3 bumpers.

GT3 Bumper front, GT3 bumper rear, GT3 wings, GT3/RS side skirts.. entire car is made to Copy/clone a GT3 (sans base brakes and 5 lug wheels)

again.. your car, your rules.. but its posing and you know it.. and STILL I say, as long as you are happy who cares..

sharing it here means you will get a response/feedback.. thats all
