The bumper would be ok, its the wing that is the issue.
I like how Tyler at APR did his swan neck so the pop up wing is still functional and stock.
I did the same thing to my old 996 turned it into a completely different car and I Absolutely love yours. Don’t listen to all the haters I sold my 996 for 34k and bought it for 18k so there’s also a market for selling them at a big premium.
I just bought a 991 and I’m doing a very similar build to yours. I just sent you a pm about exhaust!! Love your car great work!

I have a skin on the way but outside of the front lip, I’m unsure what I need to buy. I’m not sure how the center mesh will clip into the bumper, though I plan to use mesh from Amazon rather than the oe grille mesh.

upper grill mesh
side mesh covers
upper vertical plastic lip?
Please correct me or add anything I’ve missed. Thanks so much.

I don’t know how i missed this thread. I have the GT3 front end. I wanted to do the rear as well, but its a problem with the 991.2 as the intakes are different.
When the little wing goes up, it feeds Intercoolers as well as engine.
Wrong badge is posing. You’ve done real aero.
I made my own badge up. I’m not a GT3 nor a GT3-RS.

its funny how this all works... My buddy has a 911 and he removed the carrera so it just says Porsche, everyone gave him a hard time saying he wanted to hide the fact that it was a lower trim model. I removed my "turbo s" and nobody cared lol
When i first started this, i was going to do 991.1 GT3 front, but as i began my search, i found 991.2 bumpers for a lot cheaper than the .1, so that is one of the reasons i went .2. It was actually less expensive.

Thanks. Also, the bumper is OEM from a GT3 and came with a "GT3" badge which i removed. Not sure why removing the GT3 badging would be posing? Nowhere on the car will it be labeled as something it is not. The bumper change was purely an aesthetic preference
PS. A lot of "old school 911" owners actually do tribute air cooled vehicles all the time. There was an RS America replica on here for sale not too long ago that got nothing but praises. Seems like only the "new school" 911 owners get their panties in a bunch.
where did you purchase the bumper and head lights ? I would like to upgrade my car in similar fashion.
