The rear bumper I found in mint condition on eBay. But it was Miami blue. So I had to paint as well.
great looking project! Do you by chance have a list of the parts you needed to buy for the front? We’re all the brackets the same on the car and you just had to buy the bumper trims, lights, vents?

Thank you. Not sure what you mean by brackets, but if the bumper is complete, the bumper bolts right up. All holes line up except the a couple in the front fender liner. If the bumper is bare, then yes, you'll have to buy many parts to make it complete (DRL's, grills, trim pieces, plastic guides, washer jet brackets etc.) i guess it all depends on what is included with the bumper you buy.

Thanks. I kept all my stock parts so if it ever came time to sell, i'll put it back to how it came and then sell the GT Stuff. They're all reversible upgrades.

I did the same thing to my old 996 turned it into a completely different car and I Absolutely love yours. Don’t listen to all the haters I sold my 996 for 34k and bought it for 18k so there’s also a market for selling them at a big premium.
I just bought a 991 and I’m doing a very similar build to yours. I just sent you a pm about exhaust!! Love your car great work!

Thanks! Good luck! Post pics of the 991 when you're done.

Hey they're actually 991.2 specs. I used spacers to make them flush on my 991.1.

Advan GT
20x8.5 ET50 +15mm spacer 255/35 P-Zeros
20x11 ET60 +12mm spacer 305/30 P-Zeros

Default Mods!

I love what you have done! I too made my Carrera T into my own!
glad to see I’m not alone in personalizing my 991

here’s what I did! Very similar to your mods!
I also bumped power to 525hp
side skirts next!

Default Update

Sad day. I sold the car. It wasn’t officially for sale yet but I had so many people contacting me interested in the car that I decided to take advantage of the crazy market and let it go. I’m definitely getting another 991 in the near future but going to focus on some other investments for right now.

Was this a rare situation where modifications increased the value?

I would say so. The market is wild right now but if the car was bone stock i don’t think I would’ve gotten nearly as much interest. I got back what I spent on the car + mods and then some.

Good Job, I love it.

I don’t know how i missed this thread. I have the GT3 front end. I wanted to do the rear as well, but its a problem with the 991.2 as the intakes are different.

When the little wing goes up, it feeds Intercoolers as well as engine.

Wrong badge is posing. You’ve done real aero.

I made my own badge up. I’m not a GT3 nor a GT3-RS.

GTS RS

When you want a faster Carrera you get a Carrera S.

When you want a faster Turbo you get a Turbo S, and

When you want a faster GT you get a ……🤣

@4 Point 0 Thank you, I appreciate the words! I followed your thread, you went absolutely crazy with your build. I'm sure you can make the GT3 rear bumper work with some adjustments and imagination.
