Tial M660 Turbo's for 991.2

Curious to see the gains with the m660 over the GTS turbos.
No e85 around here

The M660s make low 600s on 91/93 which is what the GTS turbos do on ethanol with a couple supporting mods. The M600s make 700 whp on ethanol.

How did you like your stage1 w/ IC set up?

I hope you guys are right about a software kit to support hybrid turbos from APR. I have E85 accessible (Austin, TX), and I’m a 15 minute drive to Cobb tuning, Boost Logic, etc. so have local options.
But the more I think about it, a FBO GTS kit on E85 will make what a hybrid turbo makes on pump gas. It’s a hell of a value, you really get bang for your buck with the OEM setup.

Thankfully with the APR calibration, regular mode is less power than sport/+ but still more than stock. This allows for better traction when conditions aren’t ideal.

GTS turbos on ethanol are 615 whp roughly. 550-560 whp is right about where mine is as I have the intake pipes too. The car is smooth as glass, fast, and fun. It pulls HARD especially from 5000-7500 for minimal mods on 93 octane. I’ve run a 6.9 60-130 with traction issues which is what a 992 turbo S runs. Traction is an issue as you crest 550 whp. Tires will matter a lot more. I’m on the Pzeros for a bit longer and they are decent once you get some heat in them and the temps are 75+ F. Under that with cold tires, it’s very interesting up to 60-70 mph with traction control off

I tried to order m660s last week and my mechanic talked me out of it. He just installed a set and its running dynospectrum tune (as recommended by boostaddict). Truly its only 280ish dollars difference between the kits (including tune), but I opted to stick with apr's safe 640hp kit. We did gts turbos, ams intercoolers, tial intakes and elbow. Should be plenty for a street car.

3DMetal has the m660's with a 91oct APR tune, hopefully they'll release that tune.
He has posted a 6.56sec 60-130, on 91 at 61deg here in socal. That is a full second faster than my best on 91, GTS turbos (7.57@46deg). My Pro-tune dynoed at 542whp. I would be surprised if he he less than 600whp.

@911Pat my guess is the dyno they are using reads lower than others. It’s probably a Mustang dyno where others dyno with Dynojets. The delta is real between your baseline and protuned (200+whp or 2/3 more than what you came in with). I bet if you threw it on a rwd dynojet you would see higher numbers.

60-130 times?
As mentioned, you picked up 200 rwhp on 91 octane. Not too shabby.
