Sure glad they don't. My 1996 993 C4S was slow, noisy, primitive and has a lousy suspension not suitable for track duty. It was pretty, but a Subaru STi or BMW M3 would eat it for lunch on track days. A Porsche I never missed and would not buy again. Maybe I would like the 400 HP Turbo more, but my 286 hp one didn't cut it.

Like I say, it was pretty....

Same, I truly miss mine, rolling pieces of art! My 95 C4 now has a built 3.8, with a short ratio trans and a bunch of other stuff. My C4S went to a big local collector, who went through it and made it even better.
It's almost sad that they went up in price so much, it took away from enjoying them.

Agreed, they are pretty! However, I will say my GT3 is so much louder then the 993, and not in a good way. On track, my C4S held it's own, more power would be nice, but I could just dive bomb corners and drive it over the limits with reckless abandoned. It was fun and easy at the limits. On the straights it was tough. The running cost were so much less then the GT3, but the GT3 has the impressive lap times. While my GT3 is stock, my C4S had a lot of nice RS and other bits on it.

If I had a bigger garage and more disposable income, a 993 would be in my stable.

Ok, received and applied the Colourlock (not my misspelling). It was easy to do, dries quick and fast to feather.

Easy. Once the area is clean (I used Armarol leather cleaner), shake the product and apply to the sponge they provide. Then the sponge is used to feather the fluid onto the area. Let dry (30 min) and repeat a few times.

Although not as dramatic as OP, I am really happy with the result. Colourlock is very easy to work with and they have great help on their website.
My car is new to me 14 months ago and has 9500 miles.

Any chance you have before and after photos of your seats? I have Bordeaux seats with similar wear. Thanks
