Default Headlight air bubble?

Looking at a 2015 and noticed this bubble/wrinkle on the passenger headlight. This doesn't appear to be the delamination issue that begins on the edges of the housings I found during my research, so would that suggest this is aftermarket film?

Thanks for the insight - I thought that issue always started at the edges. Car is out of warranty at this point - that's a bummer.

You could always work replacements into the deal if the rest of the car meets your requirements.

Given it's out of warranty and not at a Porsche dealership, I'm not optimistic about that outcome. But can certainly use it as a bargaining chip in the negotiation. Anyone have any idea of a rough cost to have the OEM UV film removed, lights polished (if necessary) and new file applied?

Did the car had PPF on headlights and maybe the dealer peeled it off?

Check this out: Headlight delamination

Yeah I read that thread first and since all the examples in it seemed to indicate it started at the corners, that's why I thought this might not be an example of the problem. I'll definitely look into it more if I go and take a second look at the car, as fortunately it's local to me. I don't think they would have done that, but I'll try to find out!

If this is delamination action, this can be polished or sanded and polished. Then apply PPF. Problem solved.
