Default 991.2 4S PSE to non-PSE conversion / PSE Delete

This is something I've wanted to do since I bought the car, but never truly looked into until now. Doing it "properly" involves replacing the exhaust system turbo-back, bumper supports, and bumper cover. Couldn't find much about this on rl, so I figured I'd at least dump my research whether or not I go through this this.

From what I've determined looking at parts diagrams and part number differences between trims, doing a complete retrofit with new parts would cost in the neighbourhood of $3000 for just body panels, chassis components, and paint matching. Beyond that you're looking at $4k for an aftermarket turbo-back -- the catalytic converter, muffler, and exhaust tips are unique to the PSE. S to non-S the muffler and tips are unique, but the catalytic converters are the same.

It looks like all the chassis-mounted heatshields are the same, along with the muffler support brace and clamps for it.

For the conversion, the relevant parts appear to be:

9915050226x - rear bumper cover - $1100-1500 ($200-800 used, either way +$ for paint matching and/or repair)
- where x above, 3 is the umbrella, 4 is ParkAssist front+rear sensor + backup camera, 5 is Park Assist front/rear
99150581102 - rear apron - $250-300 ($100-200 used)
99150565102 - left exhaust cutout trim - $100 ($60-80 used)
99150565202 - right exhaust cutout trim - $100 ($60-80 used)
99991924601 - exhaust cutout screw (x2) - $16
99150583701 - retaining strip - $37

The bumper support would need to be changed in its entirety by the looks of it, unless modifications can be done to the existing pieces:

99150514104 - bumper reinforcement, rear - $500
99150563902 - rear support (2x, for exhaust?) - $70
99650564901 - bracket, 2x - $62
99950730902 - speed nut, 4x - $4
+ some button-head screws and generic fasteners

Per the parts PDF the non-PSE cover looks like this:

Whereas the PSE cover looks like this:

Now..

Has anyone done this before and can chime in on whether or not the bumper cover itself would be required? @Soul Performance , @VektorPerformance , you guys develop a lot of this stuff.. any insight?

I swear you are like my long lost brother. I bought a 2017 911 gts. Hated the semi single exit exhaust and bought a non pse rear diffuser and heat shield and an agency power non pse exhaust. My local shop vortex did all the work. I also own an Exocet that I tract LOL small world.

Woo another exocet on the forum! The guys at Soul are building one too. I'm #124. Or 126, can't remember.

Was the bodywork portion of it just as simple as swapping out the diffuser? Any pictures under there would be super, super helpful. It would absolutely make my day if it's that straightforward.

I've yet to get the 911 really up in the air since I bought it, so I haven't had a chance to poke around in earnest around the exhaust bits.

I'd rather not and it sounds like I don't have to.

But yes, center exit exhausts have always looked atrocious to me.

Yep, just like a non-PSE Carrera S.

Yes, the valving would be retained. The S and PSE exhausts are both valved.
