Burning smell after driving
I have a 2015 Carrera with about 20k miles. Bright it to my garage and had the mechanics look at it. Nothing wrong with engine, they scoped it said everything looked fine but I’m slightly burning oil 1 quart every 2k miles and no leaks or smoke. What else car I look at to solve the problem?

This car is new to me, 6 months of ownership and I’m treating it like a car with 40k miles. I’m looking for things to change or at least look at so this is a good start.
i question what type of oil my regular garage in August. I’m going to have it done again with my Porsche mechanic.
This has been driving me nuts because there is a faint smell but nothing major.

Three Wheelin'
Do a cylinder compression test and look for bore scoring.
1 qt every 2k miles is high. Normal would be 1-2 bars (0.1-0.2 qt) between every oil change.
and your car is NA as well, huummmmmm

1qt oil / 2K miles that crazy.
Did the car actually give you the red warning notice about low oil or how did you calculate?
How long have you had the car?
BTW the car smelling "hot" after driving is normal. If the car doesn't smell hot especially in a garage after driving you're not driving hard enough.
Just to add: I'm at 122,xxx miles and never had to add a drop of oil. If it makes any difference I do change oil every 5,000 miles.

I’ve noticed that after driving my C2S hard in sport mode it has a burnt rubber odor after parking. No oil burn with mine and just changed it with Motul 5-40 and the belt was changed 3k miles ago so you can count them out. I’d do a fresh oil change with good grade oil and check your plugs for oil deposits, plug #1 usual scoring culprit.

Plug 1, pic not so clear, has some carbon deposit, car obviously needs some track time 😉

As others said, there are two separate things going on.
The burning smell is normal for these cars, but the amount of oil burning is borderline Not OK. If you go to the dealer they will tell you burning that much oil is within thresholds, but I would be concerned.
First thing I would do is an oil analysis followed by bore scoring check. (foil analysis comes back with conceding numbers)
Good luck
