Default 991's on 19s

Looking at getting new wheels for my 991.1 and im pretty set on going for 19's to get abit more sidewall(and less weight).
Who else has downsized from the OEM 20's and what did you go with? Im seeing very limited options.

Here's the 19" I'm using for my winter wheels on the 13 C4S.

No shame in those OEM 19"s. They look great.

I downsized to 19's. The e88's look small due to the center face size. But I love the meaty tire look! All business!

Same here, well at least for AutoX. I recognize your name/avatar, were you on the S2Ki and or Lotustalk?

Good memory.. I was on both. I've cumulatively owned 4 S2000's and Built an Exige just a few years ago... i miss that thing, sometimes.

These look great. Mind sharing the specs?

I've been looking for a set of TE37's but cant decide on sticking with 20's or downsizing to 19's. I personally love the look of a 'meatier' tire.

I also went down to 19s for the winter set - added sidewall is a huge bonus in the post-apocalyptic scene that is NYC's road network. Might see if I can get a 3 inch lift kit and go full safari/mad max.
19x8.5 and 19x11 O.Z. ULTRALEGGERA HLT in matte bronze.

thanks! yeah i wanted the meatier tire look even tho the 20s overall filled out the wheel well better and actually looked lower too

Wheels/Tires are:
19x8.5 +52 front with 245/40/19 Michelin PSS
19x11 +63 rear with 305/35/19 Michelin PSS

I added spacers all around. These 19" TE's wont clear the 991.1 lower rear arm joint without spacers. So thats why i added the spacers to barely clear. I have about 2mm space between the inner barrel hump and the lower control arm. Fronts clear the brakes/suspension easy but i added spacers to match the rear fitment better.

I'm also lowered on H&R springs on stock suspension and alignment, the rears will poke out substantially. By lowering the car and dialing in camber of at least -2deg, then the rears will end up flush with the fender.
