Default 2019 Porsche 991 S, need advise

Hello folks,
‘what would be a good percentage off on left over 2019 911 s coupe pdk . I liked the 991.2 over 992 driving wise. The cars has 800 miles and dealer says it was test miles , ordered car that was cancelled by customer , so it has full warranty that has not yet begun

Thanks

It's the wrong time to try to get a hot deal on a Porsche, because Covid has wiped out inventories and there are few cars on any dealer's lot. They don't have to give them away right now.

911S , pdk, spasm, premium package plus, sport package , sunroof in glass, wheels painted black, msrp appx 139K. I did not negotiate yet on this 2019. My concerns is it is a 2019 and 2021s are just rolling in so want to make sure I don’t over pay as Kbb trade in now on for 2019 S coupe with just 1000 miles and above options is 108 k, lol

I posted on another thread that a Porsche dealer in Jackson, Mississippi has two 911 Targas left over. One is $21K off MSRP another is $15K off.

Inventory for left-over '19s can't be very high, if you find one that suits, I wouldn't want to wait.

I agree with the OP as to a 991.2 over a 992, but for a different reason, I just don't like the new interior. As to performance, the 992 is stronger, the factory 992 CS horsepower ratings are understated.

That is a good deal Juno , appx 15% off on a left over 2019 model Seems fair as 2021 are rolling in . Looking for what is a fair price to offer based on folks experience here

Tamiya, there are exec demos and not sure how many miles But thx for pointing them out as a reference

BSO, I agree 992 feel stronger and accelerates harder than 991.2 due to HP etc.

In normal times I would seriously tell you to shoot for 20% off, maybe even a touch more.

In these times with limited inventory, huge demand, crazy prices on the used market........who knows....but make an offer and see what happens.

2019's are still around and there does not seem to be a line forming to buy them, this dealer had two for a while, now down to one:

We got 25% off our new 2019 Targa 4GTS in June. I think that may have been a once in a lifetime deal for us, though. CA was on lock down then & the dealer panicked & wanted to unload inventory. It's funny - they were asking 20% off on the cars they had in stock when the Hubby first saw their site. They had a Carmine Red Targa that sold soon thereafter, & we kept checking in to drool over the other, remaining Targa. Clicked on their site again a couple of days later & they'd dropped the price down another 5%, so we jumped.

The question should be "What is this car worth?", not "what kind of discount can I get?"

And part of it is "How much do you want the car right now?" Cars are selling at a premium right now.

If you want a discount, come back next spring. Will be very COVID dependent.

I would not be so sure the prices will be lower “next spring”. It’s possible, but who knows. Germany is currently experiencing a very high increase in Covid cases and some new very strict regulations are going into place. Who knows if the trend continues if there will be additional factory production interruptions. I hope not, but who knows. If there is a car that checks (all) the boxes and the price is a reasonable or good one right now, I would get it knowing it’s the right decision now and enjoy it.
