Replacing just the rear tires with different brand

I just caught a nail in one of my PZeros on the rear. I've been meaning to replace them with the PS4's but wanted to burn through these first. Is it ok if I just replace the two rears with PS4's and keep the Pzero's on the front?

Always save one take-off as an emergency spare and store in a cool dark place.

I mean if you have an AWD 911... def don't you could potentially damage your diff. But on a 2wd car that is only daily driven, you could. But NOT ideal. I would not recommend it, but if the 911 is used as a grocery getter sure...why waste the money. But at that point, sell the 911 and get a GTI LOL

They are same category tires, the dynamics will be slightly altered which will change the balace when you take the car to the limit but if you don't actually do that then nothing to worry about. I think that even the people who only feed their magical Porsche fresh organic non GMO unicorn blood change the rears without replacing the fronts and that in itself will change the balance.

I agree with everyone above: 1. replace all four tires if you have an AWD, or drive your car on the track, or spiritedly; 2. you can get by with replacing only the rear tires if you drive well within the limits of the vehicle, and have RWD.
