Problems with Alarm and Strange Flashing Lights Condition

I am having some trouble with the factory alarm in my 991.2 GT3 (2018).
Often when I exit the vehicle and hit the lock button on the key FOB, the alarm will begin sounding within 2-5 seconds. Usually, I can hit the unlock and it will stop and I can proceed with the lock button again. Sometimes, even the second round after lock button causes the alarm to sound again. This is most annoying, as it seems to be random. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. Possibly something with a vibration/shock sensor (do they have one?)?
Obviously the panic button is on the underside of the key FOB (stupid design), and I initially thought I was hitting it by accident, but this is not the case.
Another possible related item, is sometimes the car will begin flashing the side markers and tail lights, but with no sound at all. In other words, not really an alarm but almost like it is trying to tell me something. The car will remain locked, but just sit there and flash the lights.
Any ideas before I make Porsche service explain on my next visit?
DISCLAIMER: This might be a RTFM situation

Check your battery first. Others have reported electronic gremlins that were traced to a battery that was discharged or wouldn't hold a charge.

Any electrical mods?
I agree with BSO's post above.

I got a new battery put in about a year ago. Leading up to that were things like:
Parking sensors wouldn't come on sometimes
Car would "forget" to turn on the interior lights when the door was opened
My Mercedes would suddenly reboot the Navigation system randomly when driving, or the collision warning chime would sound for no reason. Weird things like that are always - for me - warning signs of a battery issue. Especially if you get multiple gremlins together.

Fob battery is something else that should be replaced every so often as well but in this case I would check the car battery.
And by the way there is another forum for GT cars you may find helpful at times: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...-and-911r-229/

This issue turned out to be the OBD2 adapter for my Waylens Horizon race cam. It sometimes interferes with things when you turn the vehicle off (the adapter stays on too long and upsets things).
I forgot the adapter was present (I only use it for track or spirited drives). Kudos to the Porsche tech, he figured it all out.
