Default New Wheels

My new Litespeed Racing wheels are finally cut and powder coated.

Found this company in SoCal, kind of a boutique genius wheel maker...the guy is an engineer specializing in lightweight, stiff materials and structural engineering.

i think he’s making the lightest/stiffest wheels in the world right now.

Makes up his own Magnesium Alloy’s and cut his teeth on lots of Motorsport dedicated cars.

his wheels were on that big diesel truck that wins its class and breaks its own world record every year at Pikes Peak...he builds the wheels to spec at a reasonable price, and as far as I know is the only guy in the world that is making custom offset spec’d Mag wheels.

I got the race spec version that several ounces heavier than his very lightest offering because I wanted track spec stiffness.

even so these cane in at 17.2 pounds before powder coating and 17.4 pounds after powder coating.

in the absolute lightest version he makes that’s a 16.? Wheel all day long that’s stiff and light with your chosen offsets.

Could’nt be happier, can’t wait to get them
on the car!

Great looking wheels, and that unsprung weight is something that many people do not appreciate...hope you leave them that color!

will do...those are the pics of my actual wheels though

looking forward to weighing them next to the ones coming off

wish I still had the stock wheels for a direct comparison but near as I can tell these should be 6 to 9 pounds lighter than stock front to back at each corner.

Almost went with this color but was ready to tone it down a bit from the previous red...I do love that color of gold though

yeah...I did the math 20 times on the offsets and checked and rechecked it but I won’t feel great until I actually see them on the car where they sit lol

Nice! Great attention to detail. It looks like that knurling is near the bead area to prevent the tire from spinning on the rim?

i won’t post my exact price because I was an early adopter and he hooked me up with the admission that to be profitable he was going to have to charge more later, but in the short term he wants to get his wheels out there at a lower price cause the speak for themselves.

i will say I paid well under $10k powder coated.

the other two well known names in super lightweight wheels wanted $16k to $22k, and at that price I couldn’t choose from as many color options and I couldn’t choose my own custom offsets.
