The red wheels were lighter than stock...but the weight difference between the red and the new lighter satin black wheels was substantial.

Rears were 30.01 pounds, the new black wheels are 19.5 pounds. 10.5 pounds savings on each back corner.

The red fronts were 24.6 pounds, the new black fronts are 17.4 pounds for about a 7.7 pound savings on each corner in the front.

In terms of actual driving experience, everybody told me I would FEEL the difference, they were right...these wheels are both stiffer and lighter...they feel tighter and better in high G turns...but the big difference is that the car is snappier and more responsive under acceleration and braking.

I’m very happy with the fit too.

Most people say the car LOOKED better with the red wheels when seen in person...but I was kinda going for just a bit less flashy this time around....it is less supercar looking, but it also looks more masculine and menacing I think with the black wheels.

Certainly less unique...but the power and sound and furious speed speak for it now, not the bright wheels lol

Doesn't the heat needed in powder coating compromise the integrity of the wheel? Not an issue on a street driven car, but I'd heard to not use powder coating on a track wheel. Surprised a high-end wheel would powder coat unless that's an old wive's tail?

Do you have their contact info? I am shopping for wheels right now and would like to check them out.

it doesn’t compromise the wheel, but there are certain types of powder coating that won’t adhere properly to Magnesium wheels...for example candy red lol

So sweet!
I'll be ordering from Litespeed as well (my own custom design).

Nice. How would a wheel like that hold up to a bigger road defect compared to the factory wheel?

Does anyone know why OP was banned? Is it because of these wheels?

Does anyone have experience with this brand of wheels?

I'm working with Litespeed right now on a set of custom wheels designed by me.
We're at the point there we're starting 3D drawings. I will do a full write-up once they're completed.

I did some digging on the OP and it looks like there was a pretty heated internet argument on one of the turbo threads. I made it to page 7 and stopped when I saw it went on for 19 pages!
I suspect that could have something to do with banishment.

Wish the OP was not banned. Seemed like a cool guy.

Rugu, any updates on where you're at? I am intrigued by these posts.

I just changed from forged aluminum to forged magnesium so he had to make some tweaks to the design. He's finished those and it's now out for FEA testing.
Don't worry, I'll be doing a full review.
