Ferrari Roma vs Porsche 991.1

No emotion. Have these discussions in the right place. I like every new Ferrari but I don’t foam at the mouth over them. They have their flaws and issues like everything else.

Very sorry for those who will get offended by this: The car is ugly. The front looks like something Mazda would do to refresh the RX-8 and the back is like something Chevy would do to refresh the 2010 Camaro. I do not see Ferrari language anywhere.
I get it, the Roma and the California are the ones that will keep Ferrari in business until they sort out the electric and SUV/Crossover thoughts with the therapist.

If not, I withhold judgment until you do.
If you have, then carry on.

Infomercial? Ha! That's fun - didn't expect that. Figured you guys would enjoy this thread - maybe a couple of you did. Anyways, I have a call into Ferrari of Washington, think I'm going to order one and sell off my 991 S Cab before it gets to winter. Will take a year to get one, I can wait. It's the finest car I personally have ever driven by a wide margin. After owning (5) Porsches 911's over 40 years (and still have a Macan S in the garage) it's time to try something new.

This a respected RLer and Porsche guy (always quick to anyone on here) posting something he thought we might enjoy that he had a chance to experience. A post about a car, not a fragrance or emblem, or puddle light......

This was a nice comparo from a 991 owner and I appreciated the insight on the car in this forum. Heck, the GT3 section has a multi year thread going in Mclaren and Merc GTR. Before someone says that doesnt make it right, well since they have been there so long I guess it doesnt make it wrong either.

just on the track
I have never been fortunate enough to own either but bully for you ! The 488 felt jittery and not confidence inspiring to an amatuer. The GT3 felt planted and much faster on the straight. The braking into corner 1 also felt superior but that could have something to do with when I drove the car, etc.. My lap time was much faster in the GT3.
I also drove the new at that time Z06 that day with 600 plus HP. I guess there is someone who was talented enough to drive that car fast but it was certainly not within my capabilities.
