I had .1C2 in same color. Now I wish I had upgraded Techno wheels and ducktail!

Thanks. I can’t take any credit on the spec. I bought it as a CPO in ‘18. Took me about a year to find what I wanted. Even then it was a little bit of a reach for me. Glad I made the jump though. “Gretchen” has been lots of fun.

Def worth the upgrade and relatively easy to DIY as long as you can find the kits, which apparently are difficult right now.

Not everyone names their cars, but I almost went with "Gretchen" for mine. It's a good, strong German name.

Then, a whimsical light bulb went off in my brain... My 991's name is "Carrerica".

Quack Quack ducktail for 991.2

Will take more pictures once I cleanup the car.

Only got 1 questions after installation. The spoiler brake light only active when the spoiler is up. How can I enable it without the spoiler going up?

Nice-for the brake light you will probably have to tap into the one in the engine lid/grill. When you snap some pics please take a pic with the wing up from the side. Curious to see how drastic of an angle it will be with the duck tail. It seems like it would almost be vertical which would creat significant drag I am guessing.

You might have to do something custom. Typically you would deactivate the light on the engine lid. If you code + bypass (hard wire) you will have a fully functioning light only on the duck bill. I dont know if itll be visible when its up, however. So might might have to figure something out like running the wiring from that upper light to it and then leave the active light thats hidden alone.

A little bright for me with the yellow wheels too. But love the color on the car!
