Default Black OEM Wheels

Looking at a '14 991 that has these wheels? Anyone know if they are OEM, painted OEM or aftermarket? Thank you.

Check on VINAnalytics.

Those could be factory wheels with Black paint option.

Could be wrong (!), but I don't think factory 19s were available in black or gray on the 991. Just silver.

Even the larger/optional were only offered in certain finishes for certain designs, a practice that is still in play. If you want gray, black, or body color wheels, your wheel selection is typically limited to 1-2 designs. That has improved somewhat with the 992, I think…

^^ Personally I’ve never seen that wheel and I typically go to configurators for every new generation just to see what’s offered. One thing for sure there are winter tires in that pic and that’s an issue if the summer tires aren’t part of the deal. Winter tires in summer months wear incredibly fast, not to mention are dangerous.

I believe they are factory wheels painted Satin Black fby the factory with the xdk paint code. Uncommon option, but one I have on my white 4S

Those look like factory 19" model. I believe they were painted aftermarket, if I recall correctly you could only select the paint wheels black option on some select 20" options, but not the 19"s? I'll let other verify
