Very helpful indeed, thanks!

oh and on a slightly unrelated note, If you have three 911 side by side, a base C2, A C2S and GTS, all with PSE, and all stock, the Base will sound the best, or at least the least turbocharged, due to the larger turbos in the S and GTS it mutes the exhaust a little more, but I do think the GTS has some crackles to make up for that, granted it seems to be a common theme that the pops and bangs are looked down upon by most rennlisters.

I like the pops and crackles......It's one of the reasons I selected PSE.

And when I need aural annonimity, I press the button and the little pixies tell it to shush!

I have a base .2 without PSE...... don't regret it at all. Plenty loud for me when I romp on it, nice and civilized when I'm cruising along.

I love PSE but when shopping for a base 992 cab for my wife I knew she would never get in the car and switch it or sport or anything else, so no PSE nor SC. Car sounds very good as is and very throaty especially at start up. She likes the sound of our 50th Anniversary better though!
