Had the same issue with wear on my TTS on my last set of MP4S rears. Dealer realigned and adjusted camber and my wear on the new set is more consistent. Camber was off slightly which is enough to cause excessive inside tire wear.
Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley did my alignment when I got my new MPS4S tires 2.5 years and 18k miles ago, and my tires are wearing like they could go another 10k miles easily. I specified a street alignment because that is the type of driving I'm doing (no track days). Best alignment I've ever had. My car is a 2015 C2 with non-PASM suspension, lowered on Techart springs. Could I use the same specs on my car, which is not lowered and has PASM?
All of the threads that I’ve read make sense, but I honestly feel that the camber or toe can be adjusted to avoid massive treadwear. As for the service advisors saying it’s normal, it’s just a means of the dealership making money. I’m already starting to see negative camber on my new 992 and it only has 2900 miles on it! 😬
