But possible. There are threads here you can search on (as well as just about every other topic) that can show you the details. It just takes some time and patience!

Most certainly can be done. Not an insignificant investment of either time (DIY) or money (done for you) for a relatively minor (IMO) cosmetic change. Would be way way down my personal list of things to tackle, YMMV.

I'm with you actually...not a job I would want to tackle myself! But as I said, many change them across the model range. Years ago I ordered a Boxster S and spec'd it with Red dials...very nice.

I did it on my 2011 Cayman S. It wasn't that hard, but not sure how difficult it would be on a 991. I think it's a pretty similar process. I used dial faces fromh //www.heiler-tachodesign.de/ You can pretty much create any colour combo you want, and compare to some with options the price is reasonable.I was very impressed with the quality and appearance.

I'd love to swap for white. I can't read the tac or speedo during the day. Light grey text on dark grey background, on a bright sunny day with sunglasses on. How dumb is that for visibility?

I definitely want to swap mine out for white gauge faces...I DIY'ed this on all my previous cars (VW, Audi, BMW). Just not sure I have the stones yet to do it on this car. lol
