Default No Headlight Washers?

I have been reading a ton on the 991 before I picked up mine. I just noticed that my 2012 does not have headlight washers... is this normal? It’s not a big deal as I have no intentions of driving the car in the weather and it more often than not just wrecks the last wax.

Just curious if this is common in this year or was an option delete.

Thanks.

My 2013 doesn't have them and I am forever grateful that it doesn't!

My 2014 C2S does not have the washers and no mention of the option deleted on the spec sheet. I am not sure if it is part of a certain package or what. I too am interested if someone has additional info. My car also has the Carrera S wheels in gloss black but what is interesting is that they have a silver stripe around the edge. the Gloss black is an option on my spec sheet but no mention of a silver stripe. I have seen other Carrera S wheels with this stripe but very few..

I think you only have them if the car has the PDLS option.

My 2018 C2 has the PDLS option but no headlight washers. I don’t really mind, as I’m not sure why I’d need it. I guess if I were off-roading in mud, but I don’t treat my 911 that way.

I would be curious though to hear from those who have them, how often they use that feature.

No washers on my 2012 S. No mention of it on the build sheet.

Washers are only for xenon. You have led lights so no washers.

Normally, only .1 with PDLS (xenon) have washers…

I don't have them, with no regrets.
Car is a 2019 C4S with PDLS and LED lights.

Not really incorrect, but not complete. I didn’t know you could have them on a .1 with PDLS+. Thanks 🙏🏻

I have the washers (not by choice). Tried them once (before washing the car). +1 on the fact that you will need to wash your car after using them....
