So while I wait for my wheels to arrive, I am now looking at lowering options. Coilovers seem to give you most adjust-ability in ride height, dampers setting etc but since I don't track the car might be a waste of $$$.

My car has PASM and PDCC - with 21's coming in a week or 2 need to get my options sorted out. I want no finger gap as close as possible. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Probably H&R is the best fit as its the most aggressively lowered option for springs.

I have Eibach - love them. TechArt is made by Eibach and is well liked here as well. A tertiary option is KW with HAS.

If you have no plans to go to the track I'd highly recommend the lowering spring route.

Yeah, I have always used HR in my past cars - just been reading and it seems a lot of people are leaning towards TA. I heard HAS don't provide a good ride?

Can someone share photos so I can get a good idea on ride height? I don't think there are that many people riding on 21's.

In order of most aggressive drop to most conservative: HR > TA > Eibach. Also know that TA and Eibach are progressive rates. This is also the order of most aggressive spring rate to most conservative in addition to the drop.

One other tidbit is that there is an adjustable perch on the rear that should be used to ensure the car doesn't have weird rake.

I haven't had any experience with HAS and there have been very few reports but the spring rate is in line with the others so I don't believe the ride quality will be materially different.

Almost sure TechArt is made by H&R. The included bump stumps are 100% H&R and the part numbers on the springs line up with H&R.

This is incorrect. !00% Techart springs are made by Eibach. They are slightly different specs but absolutely manufactured by Eibach.

Then why do they include H&R bump stops and have part numbers on them with H&R naming schema instead of Eibach naming schema?

Pics? I'm open to learning something but don't think this is accurate at all. I don't believe they come with bump stops either....

Sub'd to this thread as I'm researching this too. From the reading I've done I'm likely staying away from H&R and KW HAS so it's down to Eibach or TechArt for me.

Also couldn't find a YouTube vid showing spring installation on a 991 or 991.2, only a 997 so far.
