rapidly flashing parking brake on tach?

rapidly flashing parking brake on tach?
Hopped in my car and the red parking brake signal on the tach was blinking rapidly. no errors or anything and hasnt acted up since. have a service in a month and will have it checked, but anyone else have this problem?

It would be helpful in your original post to have listed a few items like:
Year
Mileage
Service history
I assume this is the visual warning light for worn brake pads, and you tripped your brake pad warning sensor.

3000 miles
Regular dealer service annually
It was at a slight incline that some posters mentioned too. I don't know how it could be worn pads at 3k miles
