Hopped in my car and the red parking brake signal on the tach was blinking rapidly. no errors or anything and hasnt acted up since. have a service in a month and will have it checked, but anyone else have this problem?

Those post mentioned a fault message. Mine was just the flashing brake light on the tach.

Service history

I assume this is the visual warning light for worn brake pads, and you tripped your brake pad warning sensor.

 

2018 Carrera T
3000 miles
Regular dealer service annually
It was at a slight incline that some posters mentioned too. I don't know how it could be worn pads at 3k miles

 

Always check the easy stuff first!

 

I get the flashing brake light when I try to drive off with the parking brake on while not wearing the seat belt.
