If the compressor popped, or the car was in an accident and had a gaping opening to fresh air for a month while being repaired, yes.
i contacted the dealer and they quoted me $1950 for the repair. They too think its unnecessary to change the dryer. The tech said the system will be vacuumed and that should be enough.

Micky D, are you paying out-of-pocket, or making a comp claim on your insurance?

Definitely sounds like an insurance claim - does anyone have a close up pic of the zunsport grills installed?

There are countless pics on the forum, just search on Zunssport; however, here is a pic of them on my car from a distance where you can tell they are there without getting right on top of them:

I don't care what anybody says, it's unfathomable that Porsche doesn't protect these vulnerable radiators with grills from the factory. Just plain crazy!

Me, too. And the refrigerant is R1234YF, which is very $$$.

I like the Zunsports since I can take them off in a second to clean crap out from behind them, like dead bugs and little stuff that makes it through. And they look pretty good to me since I have usually not a foot in front of them to see the difference.

Got my car back from the dealer after replacing the AC condenser. I had them install the customcargrills while they had the bumper off. Fitment is spot on with no gapping. The quality is nice and they only costed $8x shipped.

Looks perfect! I can't seem to find the Zunsport protectors for 991.2 Carrera T on their website. All I see is 991.2 GTS and Turbos. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
