There is an easier way. There is a guy on ebay who sells vinyl sticker cover-ups that are the exact right size and and color. Easy to install and they are durable. I've used them on many of my Porsches. I can't remember his name but if you search for sunvisor decal covers, he will come up.
The cover up sticker above looks pretty good in the advertisement, but sounds too good to be true. Anyone have real life pics with them installed? I imagine they can be removed later without damaging?
Cover up sticker looks just like it sounds. The above alcohol method works. I have done it on 3 year old cars without issue several times. Just need to be patient and wait for the label to loosen.
Properly soak the paper towel out to the edges, wait and peel.
ive tried all the methods of removing the stickers after 1 yr from new. No joy, they would not loosen and come off. So i found a source on ebay that make a black sticker that covers the warning crap. Perfect
Did you use 91% alcohol? Let it sit for a good amount of time? If done right label should come off all in 1 piece.
That 15 minutes wasn't a waste at all! I've read many of those threads and I've just been too nervous about ruining my sun visors (mine are the natural leather) to actually remove the sticker.

Thank you, yes I kept the CF vinyl on there cuz I have lots of CF parts in the car.
I had lots of vinyl left so I i put it to good use. Win win situation.
No right or wrong , eBay vinyl or alcohol is all good options.
Do you guys think I'm crazy to spec alcantara sunvisors, knowing that I had already purchased the sticker-free alcantara visors from Suncoast.. JUST so I could have the alcantara sunvisor box checked on my build sheet.
I just did mine on a 5 year old car. Soaked in alcohol as suggested and they came off. Not all in one piece but off! It seems critical the amount of time to soak them. Too little and they don't budge, too much and they are goo. When they were just right you could peel the very thin label off in sheets. Sort of a PITA but it's done now. Looks much better.
