Default Sunvisor sticker

Anyone else in here finds the huge white sunvisor sticker an eye soared?

Well I had extra CF vinyl (yes i have full CF dash kit, CF PDK **** & CF steering wheel to match) , so I decided to cover that sunvisor.

What you think? The HRE sticker was laying around , so I used it as a garnish lol

Most of here just remove them...it was discussed in a very recent thread actually. Anything other than solid Black is a distraction IMO!

Can you share that link? I'd like to remove mine also.

That 15 minutes wasn't a waste at all! I've read many of those threads and I've just been too nervous about ruining my sun visors (mine are the natural leather) to actually remove the sticker.

I think your solution looks kinda cool - and it's unique!

Don't want to be busting anyone's bubble but people have been removing and covering up visor labels with all kinds of stickers since the day after vehicles starting coming with them.

I have done 3 cars. Here is how I do it.
Buy 91% Isopropyl Alcohol (CVS, Walgreens etc)
Fold a thick paper towel to slightly larger than the sticker
Soak the paper towel in the alcohol
Sit in the car with a towel on your lap to catch any drips
Unhook the visor so you can tip it so the sticker is facing up
Lay the soaked paper towel over the sticker , pat down so it catches all of the edges
Let it soak about 5-8 minutes, Lift a corner and see if the sticker is starting to come loose, let it sit longer if necessary
It should with patience come off all in one piece
Clean up the residue glue with the paper towel
Do a final clean with 303 protectant, should be residue free.
Has worked flawlessly for me each time.

Does this approach work on an older car as well or does it have to be done when the car is new? Let's say the car has had the sticker on for 5 year now, was wondering if it would leave an outline now.

ive tried all the methods of removing the stickers after 1 yr from new. No joy, they would not loosen and come off. So i found a source on ebay that make a black sticker that covers the warning crap. Perfect
