Sunroof Noises at Higher Speeds

I've noticed that at speeds that are on the higher side, my closed sunroof has a lot of wind noise, and it sounds like I'm about to be sucked out of the car. Is this normal? Maybe next time I'll tilt the back open and see if that helps.

Hmmm... I'm gonna go with not normal on this. I don't have this problem with my sunroof. I can't say for certain this will work, but maybe try lubing your tracks?

Worth a shot. It's more of an air sealing thing. Only happens when speeds are higher than about 140mph. (on the racetrack, of course)

Ya my thought was if it's not setting down all the way due to friction, could cause it jot to seal properly. Just a stab.
All the rubber trim look OK? Nothing pinched?

I had this recently but not at those speeds. Bought a 2013 CPO back in February of this year and didn't notice it during the test drive, but on the way home once I got out on the turnpike doing 75+ mph I heard it. Brought it back the next day to be checked out. Turns out there are screws that had to be replaced that somehow became loose (rubber/weatherstripping was good). They are 1-time use screws they had to order from Germany so I had to schedule a revisit once they came in. The repair took about 2 hours as they had to remove the sunroof assembly in order to get to said screws.

Have the same issue on mine. Glass sunroof. Going faster than 260 km/h (161 mph) I get the same sucking sound from above. I'm used to it by now. But passengers on high speed trips always get scarred and ask me to slow down. Bummer.

I would love to test my Targa top's seals at 161!

It sounds like the same issue. I would have preferred a car without the sunroof, but the car was perfect for me in all other aspects.

Sorry. You have to go faster to receive that noise!

Have not noticed it on mine up to 135 mph, but mine does have a rare sunroof configuration.
Because it is an Endurance Racing Edition, it has the "sunroof in glass" shape/style, but with a steel sunroof instead of glass. Porsche did it this way because of the Endurance Racing decals on the roof, from front to back. So maybe it is different for generating wind noise?

Isn't the difference in steel and glas sunroofs just the material? Or ist style and/or functionality also different?
