Contact cleaner. I was afraid to go too far with it and was using GooGone and contact cleaner in small amounts and got results. But I had it into the dealer recently and mentioned it, and apparently they sprayed the ever living daylights out of it with contact cleaner and totally fixed it.I had been worried about the plastic, but apparently this is not a concern.

I have this, at least the Adam's version. It's good for dust and crumb type bits in tight spots, not for things that are stuck hard. It has an eerie cold jelly feel that may be compelling for some... just saying.
