Either way, go for it! I like it on my Manual so you should as well on your PDK!

Very cool. I have the engine tune, would be interested in feeling the results with the PDK shift point mods added to it.

I was informed this was coming out about two weeks ago, but I am still on the fence about it.
I was also told that for those of us with cars putting out torque and HP numbers that push the limits of the stock PDK, that this tune will
alleviate those problems by allowing for higher clutch pressures and different shift points.

I dont want to be the guinea pig but I may have to be. Still waiting to see if any reviews come in and what they have to say..

so would this have alleviated the issues from vers 1.02 with where we had power but stuttering shifts?

Hmmm. The $700 upgrade seems steep for just PDK adjustments (I shift with the paddles anyway), but I would definitely pay it if COBB could go back to more aggressive power for those with the PDK tune.

Everything you just said, Porschex3!

I would consider it maybe at $400 if there was a truly noticeable improvement while paddle shifting which, like you, I use the most.

I’d like to know the value of this add-on for 991.2 in shift mode.

The general consensus is that the PDK tune will allow you to tweak the shift points, rpms and maybe even clamp pressure to account for the higher HP and torque.
This is what is I am hearing but, dont know if it will actually work. I reverted back to my very first tune from Cobb/Mitch which was a monster.

I will find out if this is the solution or not.. stay "tuned"

Is this free to existing customers or does everyone have to pay $700 for it?

Pretty sure mine would be one of the highest HP cars. Happy to play guinea pig.

Hook me up COBB.

For me, it will be worth it if it means that we can get more power on the engine tune side of things. It will definitely be valuable for those who have pro tuned and/or modded their cars are were running into slipping PDK clutches.

Porschex3: I am still questioning why the turbo and other high HP Porsches with PDK can deliver their power on the same PDK's but we cant.
If someone can definitively prove the PDK tune can cure that slippage issue then I would be willing to pay the price as well.
