Default PDK paddle shifter

All non PDK owners can take a pass on this thread.

Have you driven your car and wished that the paddles shifters were longer? I can’t see this happening other than if you had quite a bit of steering input and had to downshift.

Is this a solution to a non problem?

i dont need longer ones but they look pretty cool, these replacements from JCR look better than those tack on style though, just a lot pricier

I added the carbon shifter extensions. I like the look and feel. Not the best pic.

Wow. $250. What a bargain.

I think it is a non problem. Just something for the mod hungry Porsche owners.

I originally wanted longer paddles for easier shifting but heard some complains (large paddles blocking the each end of the gauges and make it really hard to see).
After reading those issues, I decided to not to get it. Just something to think about. =)

I was thinking the exact same thing. The paddles are part of the steering and rotate with it.

If you have the Sport Steering wheel on a 991.1 the paddles are fixed to the steering column..... they do not move with the wheel.

Are they affixed to the steering wheel on the 991.2's 992's?

That's not true at all. Yesterday was April fools.

Yes.

The only sportscars I know of that have the paddles attached to the steering column are Ferraris.

I so wish! Sadly no.

My Alfa Quad had fixed paddles and they were GLORIOUS!!!! It's one of the 2 things I miss about this car, the paddles and the raw power.
