Lots of people ask stupid things on here that expose them as never looking at a tool or understanding anything technically about a car. They are welcome here too and no judgement either way...

Yours definitely has an X pipe of some kind but the flange at the end of the headers is OEM. 50% of the time there is no gasket in there when people go to aftermarket. Sad but true No welding from what I can see and easy bolt on to make and change if you like.

The circled areas look like there used to be something attached. It appears that something was cut off and welded shut at those spots.

Looks like it may have had helmholtz resonators on it as some point and they were cut off and welded shut. This is very likely either a one off project or one of the prototypes from an exhaust company playing around with some ideas, definitely doesn't look like a finished product.
