Bummer, got a CEL code P0036 after the second start up. P0036 is the left side O2 sensor (LSF) on the down side of the cat. I remember the O2 wrench I used sliced off and bent the heat shield of the sensor. I did not think it would damage it, but I guess it did. Ordered a new one today. $$$$

This one in the center of the photo. (last weeks picture)

I did have to remove the bumper again and a few air ducts.

porsche tells me yes, it is unavailable. they could replace the turbos and it would just rust again simply from moisture in the air.

I detail the car - including the underside - and that surface rust gets my ocd!
Yes they always rust. I wish Porsche would have the manufacturers coat the turbos with something like Vektor headers have.

About 18 hours for the headers & Turbos. About 10 hours for the Tial tubes.

It will run, but not optimally. And the stock tune doesn't know to crank up the boost to take advantage of the bigger turbos

big miss that they do not coat the turbos IMO

perfect brand new cars with parts that immediately rust - not ideal in $100k + vehicles

I know most will never be under the car, but those of us who wrench, or have lifts, or detail - its aesthetically annoying

APR has nearly finished the GTS tune, they have teased somewhere in the range north of 600HP

that's a stock hardware GTS. This car will need a different tune due to the mods.

Yes I will need another Pro Tune because of the Headers, Turbos and maybe even because of the larger Tial intakes. I already have the Cobb Stage 2 and a Pro Tune because last summer I installed Soul 200
cats, SharkWerks exhaust and AMS intercoolers. Now with the added Vektor headers, GTS Turbos and Tial tubes will be doing some tuning.

Your right, It will not run optimally. Although I do not have a stock tune, I have Cobb stage 2 and a pro tune on top of that. I will be doing some cautious street data logging for my Pro Tuners to look at. They will make changes as necessary and send them back to me and I will load them into the ECU. After they think the data looks good we will be doing some dyno runs.

That is awesome, but I think many want to see what the stock GTS will do with the APR tune.

As a starting point

Not surprising that with upgraded ICs/inlets and ethanol that the numbers will get HUGE

North of 600HP with stock GTS components? That doesn't sound quite right...
