Default Replacing trim in 991.2 GTS

I want to change out the trim on the dash, door panels and center console from standard to carbon fiber. Has anyone done this? Is it a do it yourself project? What about removing other parts like doors, etc? Any help appreciated.

Dash and center console trims are sold through Porsche USA but door panels are not on sale and from what I heard, it's pretty impossible to change door panel trims.

The door panels strips are glued on so you could heat them and remove them I believe and when you clean the mess you can probably glue new ones on. There are some places that make the CF pieces as well. And there are other threads on the topic that you can search this forum for. Another option is to wrap the door strips since there are several different CF films on the market you could use.

The door panel spears are actually hot riveted. (plastic melted over from back side.). The spears aren't sold separately. In my experience you end up cutting them off from behind and they can't be reused. I have seen people glue other spears in their place.

Correct, sorry if I was not clear but they can be glued back on. Someone was selling a set on 6speedonline and it included the door strips so they do come up from time to time, on fleabay as well.

I've now gone through all the relevant threads here. Seems like a pretty easy process to switch out to carbon fiber. Aside from OEM, DB Carbon has a full package that includes glue-on door spears. Looks like a nice set-up but I'm concerned about how the glue-on door spears will look.
Anyone seen them? I might skip them and just do the dash and center console trim.

Dash and console trim easy to remove and install. Should take 10-15 mins, make sure to use proper tools so you don't scratch anything or break clips.

Do you have leather door panels or std rubber door panels? If leather, you can drill out plastic welded rivets IF you can find carbon fiber spears to replace them. See my thread on door panel upgrades. Here

If rubber, you can buy stick on door spears.

I have sort of the opposite question. I have the factory carbon fiber trim. I want to put in the "smokers package" to have the cover over the coin tray (and perhaps wire in the 12V as I have the harness). However, the cf trim part doesn't seem to detach like the standard plastic trim part does. I've pulled the side trim pieces to take a look at it, but can't figure it out. I am hesitant to put any more force on it, so I thought I would see if anyone else has tried this?
